Partnering with Physicians
Sleep Services of America is one of the largest
and most experienced sleep diagnostic providers
in the United States. For over twenty years, the
company has been dedicated to furnishing physician
practices and hospitals with a viable mechanism
to provide a professional sleep diagnostic treatment
program with minimal financial risk. SSA provides
hospital-based and freestanding programs for patients
afflicted with sleep disorders. And unlike many
other “sleep companies”, when you partner
with SSA, you can be assured that you’re partnering
with sleep professionals who are truly experts in
the field. SSA labs and centers are established
and maintained in accordance with the highest standards
of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).
SSA's preliminary sleep evaluation
is conducted right in your office
The first step in diagnosing sleep apnea
is the identification of patients within
your practice that suffer from sleep apnea.
A clinically-validated questionnaire provided
by SSA can be filled out quickly during
a patient visit. This survey will stratify
your patient population into high-risk and
low-risk categories for OSA. If a full sleep
study is recommended, SSA will conduct the
testing at one of SSA's convenient sleep
lab locations
.
SSA diagnoses sleep disorders using
the latest technology
SSA offers a full range of diagnostic services
for both adults and children suffering from
sleep apnea. Because pediatric sleep studies
are often more difficult to perform and
interpret, SSA takes special steps to ensure
that optimum results are attained. Environment,
as well as the selection and administration
of the tests themselves necessitate that
staff, facilities and equipment be tailored
to our pediatric patients' needs.
SSA sleep labs are specialized facilities
that promote patients' comfort during the
sleep testing process. Patients are observed
overnight in comfortable, professionally-operated
facilities assisted by trained sleep technicians
with excellent patient skills. Achieving
high patient and physician satisfaction
is a way of life for SSA professionals.
